How to set up a proxy in the Safari browser

Open Safari Preferences

Go to Network Proxies

In the new window, go to the Advanced tab, and then click on the Proxies section under your active network (e.g., Wi-Fi).Safari Network Settings

Enable Manual Proxy

  • Select the proxy protocol on the left (e.g., HTTP, HTTPS, or SOCKS5)
  • Enter your proxy IP and Port
  • Check Proxy server requires password
  • Fill in your IpnProxy username and password

Apply and Confirm

Click OK, then Apply to save your changes. Proxy settings are now active.
Visit https://ipnproxy.com/ip-lookup to verify your current IP.

Safari uses the macOS system proxy configuration. Changes apply across all macOS applications that rely on system networking.
